Women’s Health Information SessionJoin us for a free health education session with the latest information on women’s health, with a focus on menopause. A Health Educator from Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health (MCWH) will bring their up-to-date knowledge and understanding of migrant women's health issues. You will be able to ask questions and find out about health resources available in your language. This event will be held in the Preston Library Meeting Room, a private space where you can ask questions in a safe and comfortable environment. MCWH is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation led by and for women from migrant and refugee backgrounds. All women are welcome at this free information session. Indigenous Literacy Day Book SalesHelp us raise funds for The Indigenous Literacy Foundation!On Wednesday 4 September, we celebrate Indigenous Literacy Day. From 2–6 September, visitors to the library can purchase a book from our book sale trolleys for a gold coin and we will donate 100% of the money raised to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF).
